Account recovery

Can’t sign in?

Quick Plays uses passwordless email codes. If you still have access to your email, just go back and request a new code — that solves most “can’t sign in” cases (codes expire after an hour, and the email occasionally lands in spam).

If you’ve lost the email itself

We can’t automatically recover an account when the sign-in inbox is gone — every reset path Supabase offers goes through that same inbox. Recovery is a manual process with us; here’s how to start it.

  1. Email [email protected] from any address you can reach.
  2. Tell us your old sign-in email and the new email you’d like to use.
  3. Include enough detail for us to confirm the account is yours — a team name you created, a published play link you can show us, an assistant coach who can vouch, or the approximate signup date. The more concrete, the faster.
  4. We’ll respond within a couple of business days. If the verification holds up, we change the auth email on your account and you can sign in again with the new one.

Avoiding this next time

The single best thing you can do is change your sign-in email the moment you decide to retire the old one — Settings → Account → Email. The change requires confirming via both addresses, so do it while you still have access to both.

You can also export your data any time from Settings → Data → Export. That gives you a JSON file you control independent of the account.
